Scd or feingold - which is better?
The two diets are very different. SCD is much more restrictive, but is betterfor kids with certain specific issues (not too sure what they are, since I’mmuch more familiar with FG). feingold is good to eliminate “artificials”, butstill maintain a more “mainstream” kind of diet–more “normal” grocery storefoods. It helps if your child has a problem with salicylates. The diet can helpwith ADD/ADHD/ LD’s, bedwetting, behavior problems/tantrums,headaches/migraines, some tics, and similar issues. We found the diet veryhelpful as astarting point–we did it before going GFCF. It pinpointed some problem foodsandadditives we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Many families combine GFCF and FGquite successfully, and there is a lot of discussion on the members board aboutGFCF issues, and lots of recipes on the recipe board are GFCF. I findmembership to be very helpful to me.

Yes, as Marilyn says, they are different. My son and I follow the BodyEcology Diet. I think it’s even better than SCD because it also paysrepsect to your blood type, which is very important. I think Fielgodlis a cornerstone to ANYONE’s desire to get healthy.
