Aggression normal withdrawal symptom of gfcf?

We started GF (not completely CF yet, still a little milk in themorning with gf cereal) otherwise soy at the beginning of the year andI don’t necessarily know if we have eliminated all cross contaminants,we haven’t switched toothpaste and shampoos. He is normally a prettyloving kid and he has been sent to the principal’s office (he’s akindergartner) twice in 2 days for reacting inappropriately to cuttingin line - pushing or hitting! Also, his had been somewhatunder control, had come back a bit in the last few months, but now it’sback with a vengence!

This could be a few different things. For my son, once the zoned outeffect from the gluten and casein disapeared, he began to show signs of phenolintolerance. I think they were always there but masked by the other strongerreactions. Every child seems to be different, for my son the worst are: concentrated apple (sauce or juice), red grapes, food coloring. Bananas (aminesnot phenol) and msg & artificial food colorings.

Yeast overgrowth can also cause some nasty behaviours. We had a recent boughtwith this and we were 16 months into the diet at that point. Epsom salt bathsbefore bed and a 2 week course of GSE made a great change for our son. We alsonow give him (No-Fenol) by Houston Enzymes with fruit juice, tomatoe products &p’nut butter.

The final thing that has caused problems for us is too much chocolate. Lastyear around Christmas time, I was trying to make lots of goodies that were alsosafe for Connor. I was using cocoa powder to make lots of chocolate stuff (Iknow it was all gf/cf because I was careful). That was also about the time wediscovered tetra pks of chocolate soy milk and he loved them. It took me almosta month to figure out that it was the chocolate causing the problem.

A daily diary can help a lot to figure out what is going on with your child. I can post my format if you like. Hope this helps.

Once the major problem substances are out of thesystem, all sorts of other things show up that were masked before. We eliminatedallartificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and additives, plus highsalicylate fruits and veggies, and then added the fruits and veggies back inslowly. Ofcourse we never added back the artificials! We discovered that corn syrup, apples, and grapes were big no-no’s for our kids.

This can be the remaining milk. Corn intolerance is common foraggression, do you give a lot of corn now? Soy intolerance can alsocause this. So can phenol intolerance
