Enzyme starting
I have read the responses tothe teeth grinding question but unsure if it said it was yeast related(I can’t find it)…Claudia just started doing this. She has beenvery good overall with much more vocalizing and interacting withpeople. However, her rash on her butt and arms is worse than ever.I started the GSE extract and just ordered the enzymes from HNI. Sheis constantly craving potatoes and she is so bloated. How should Istart doing the enzymes? I really (at this point) can’t take awaypotatoes. It is the only thing I can get her to eat (besidesapplesauce). She is 30 lbs and 26 months old. What should I beginwith? I ordered all the recommended ones. Please help! Thanks !

For my kids, this was a result of improper zinc/copper ratio. Threeof my kids needed added zinc, one needed added copper. It can also bedeficiency of calcium, magnesium, or B5. Yeast overgrowth can alsocause it.
She has been
GSE will help with yeast overgrowth issues.
Give Zyme Prime for potato intolerance.
Give No-Fenol on an empty stomach to help control yeast. Also give itwith the GSE.
I really (at this point) can’t take away
No-Fenol for applesauce, but it also does feed yeast.
Do you give other supplements? Several supplements will kill theappetite and/or cause food restrictions.

You said No-Fenol will feed yeast but at the same timehelp to control yeast? I am confused. My son eats steamed dumplings a lot and plain rice. Iknow steamed dumplings have a lot of yeast and carb.,but what does rice have? I know it must have carb, butdoes it have protein? I am asking this because I amnot sure which enzyme to buy - AFP Peptizyde or ZymePrime? The other thing he has a lot is SILK brandorganic soymilk.

I think she meant that the applesauce feeds yeast.

Sorry. The No-Fenol can help with digestion/phenol issues of theapplesauce, but the applesauce feeds yeast.
No-Fenol, if given on an empty stomach, will break down the yeast cellwall and help kill the yeast.
Starch and carb.
For rice, Zyme Prime. ZP did not help my son with rice tho, I had toremove it. But AFP did help my son with wheat, so I removed the riceand added back wheat with good results.
It helps many kids with rice issues tho, so try it and see if it helpsyours.

SNT can kill the appetite. Try removing it and see if that issue goesaway. If it does, you can consider trying hypoallergenic NuThera, start with 1/4 recommended dose, see if that helps.

I started the enzyme- Zyne Prime today with her breakfast. I am also giving theGSE and SNT. I am holding off on the No-Phenol so I can see if it makes adifference. Her poor butt is so raw. She has 3 big pimples on her cheeks andlooks like open sores around her anus. I think it is definitely a yeast issue. She is also drooling like crazy and we have seen a huge regression over the last2 days (she isn’t speaking at all) Not sure if I shoudl re-introduce a few things to her (vegetable soup, campbell’s soup) with the AFP enzyme and see if she can tolerate it. She hasn’teaten today besides applesauce- All she wants is potato sticks and I can’t gether to eat anything. She is miserable (along with the rest of us) I knowpotatoes feed yeast, but we have been doing the GSE and it is not helping. Sheis more dazed than ever. Her face looks like a pizza… Please help- Has anyone else had this issue and re-introduced some foods. Weare sinking!

also giving the GSE and SNT. I am holding off on the No-Phenol so Ican see if it makes a difference.
The No-Fenol can help with any reactions she might be having to theGSE and SNT. I would start that one, give 1/4 capsule with the GSE,SNT, and applesauce. You can give the ZP with the potatoes.
Is this the ZP that contains papain/bromelain? Some kids don’ttolerate that version.
If you suspect she is miserable because of yeast die off, giveactivated charcoal about 30-45 minutes after the GSE, see if that helps.

As far as the diaper rash goes…1/4 cup of venigar in the bathwater works. Someone posted it somewhere. It may have been applecider venigar though. But still, you could try regular venigar. Itried the apple cider venigar on my daughter, and mind you, she hadvery mild diaper rash but it was gone! If the rash is a little worsethen you could try a bath every day and see if it goes away.

This is the first I’ve heard of this issue. Which ones (of course it variesfrom child to child, as everything else) are most likely? What can be done ifthe child needs the supplement but won’t eat or has other bad reactions likethis?

This one is for you to Dana (maybe we should start paying you:)- How would you start and how much of the enzymes? I just got them in the mailtoday and want to start tomorrow… Typically my daughter eats spaghetti (potato and rice pasta for breakfast)with applesauce, then GFCF soup for lunch and potato product and applesauce(peach mango) for dinner. This is the current rut we are in due to the fact shewill not touch any GFCF breakfast food. This is a kid that used to eat 2 fullwaffles and yogurt for breakfast. SHe will also have a snack of potato chips 2Xday during therapy. I bought the chewable Acidophilus, Zyme Prime chewable, and AFP Chewables. She is definitely having a yeast issue (rash, teeth grinding, spaciness) andhave been giving GSE (1 capsule) in her applesauce in the morning. She alsotakes 1/2 tsp of SuperNuThera in the am and 1/2 in the pm. Please guide me in the amount and when to give the enzymes. I am positivethis is going to make a big difference in her. She is def. intolerant topotatoes and I can’t give them up right now and go through another hungerstrike.
