Gerber puffs
I am desperate for finger foods/breakfast…My daughter will not eatanything but potatoes- Anyone have any suggestions on snacks orbreakfast foods I can buy at the groccery store (she is rejecting allthe health food store snack bars and stuff) Are the Gerber puffs ok-The Wagon wheels only have rice flout, corn flour, and apple juice?

I thought gerber puffs had wheat or were made on machines that havewheat. Not sure about those but I bought my son some cinnamon raisenbread at the health food store (it’s frozen bread) and I toast it acopuple of times and cut it into small squares and put honey on it.Wil she eat something with a bread texture? I hated frozen bread forthe longest time but once I gave it a try I like it now. I also makehim grilled cheese sandwiches out of rice bread, soy cheese andpepperoni for lunch.
Sorry that may not be very helpful.

Hi, What form are the potatoes that she eats in? If it’s mashed potatoes, trysomething like cream of rice cereal. It may look a little like the mashedpotatoes at first and if she tries it and likes it, then you have one morething. Likewise, try adding something else to her potatoes, like a little maplesyrup? I know this sounds weird, but if she likes the taste she may be willingto try something else with it on it. Do you follow my drift? The trick is toget them to try ANYTHING else, if you get them to accept even one thing, you areon the road to success! If it’s fries that she likes, fry up some bread cutinto sticks until golden. etc…..

If you are referring to the fruit flavored wagon wheels, they shouldbe okay. I called Gerber and they said they are gluten free. Thereis no wheat in them. My son loves them. That was the only food wewere able to keep from his prior diet. We use them for rewards, B12shots, etc. They work like a charm since he loves them so much. Aslong as your child can have corn and rice, they should be okay.
For breakfast, my son loves the arrowhead mills sweetened rice flakescereal. He eats it dry. He also eats the baby jars of sweet potatoesin the morning (I put protein powder in it along with all of hissupplements.
