I am searching for a gluten, casein, and SOY free alternative forcream cheese, butter, and yogurt- help! I know different things havecome and gone from the market- and that there are a number ofalternatives (WITH soy!) out there, but can someone help me withbrands that I could use to recommend to families that I work withwhose children need a diet free of ALL three?? Has anyone hadexperience using ghee? Any information would be SO helpful and VERYappreciated :)

Fleishman’s Light is the only margarine that I know of that meets thatstipulation. Ghee is casein free but I haven’t gotten around totrying it yet. For yogurt I haven’t found anything except making yourown out of an alternative milk (potatoe, rice or almond for us) ananda non-dairy yogurt starter (acidophilus). I can’t help at all withthe cream cheese.

Mother’s Margerine that you buy from a Kosher market during Passover is o.k.. Mydaughter has to eliminate all three as well as a host of other foods. It has tobe the Kosher for Passover though because that one is made with cottonseed oilnot soybean oil.

I was looking for gluten-free, casein-free, and soy-free cheese for my sister-in-law. Her son is on a gluten-free,casein-free, and low soy diet. I came across a website and company that has a cheese that is free of all three! Here it is.
