Red ring on the buttocks???
My dd Caitlin has a red ring around her rectal opening that is prettylarge. I only noticed it for the first time this evening. I know Iread about this somewhere and also saw a picture of it but I can’tremember what causes this. Does someone here know?

Yeast seems to be the consensus when this classic ‘red ring’ questionpops up. My son had a cherry red ring around his anus for monthsuntil I started the GFCF diet. It disappeared within 48 hours andreally never returned (even after we left the diet for awhile). I’mnot sure how yeast can disappear like that overnight, but the vastmajority of parents still said “yeast”.
