Seeing an allergist

I have had many tests and etc done on my son only because the doctorshave never recommended anything. I feel like I should be gettingtheir salary for doing their job. Anyway, I asked my sons doctor tosend us to an allergist to check all food allergies. Does anyone haveany suggestions as to what I should specifically ask the allergist todo? They may run their usual tests, but is there something specific Ishould ask to make sure they check everything? I would appreciate anyhelp. So far the diet, and vits aren’t doing anything. I’mmissing something somewhere and not sure what.

These will onlyshow things that cause the type of reactions that can cause breathing problems, rashes or even aniphilactic (spl?) reactions. Not food sensitivities. Thetypes of food sensitivities that we are addressing with this diet causedifferent reactions. (sorry maybe someone else can explain this better).

Read Dr. Doris Rapp’s book “Is This Your Child?”. She describes thetype of testing for food sensivities. We found a doctor in our areaby calling her office for a referral. Way more helpful testing thanthe standard allergy tests. Mary

How long has he been on the diet?autistic like behaviours he has EVER exibited including sleeppatterns, bms and eating habits. Is he still doing all of these? Hashe developed more? These are the clues that tell us if we are makingheadway or not. Changes, even seemingly bad changes prove that dietDOES affect him. You are on the right track but maybe in the wrongdirection? Hope this isn’t too confusing.
