Constant hunger
Since the gf/cf/sf diet (3 months) and the supplements my son is constantlyhungry. Has anybody have a child like this? I thought it was a growth spurt butit has not let up. He eatss large volumes for his size and will eat anytime ofthe day.
My son will eat anything I put in front of him (some of the stuff tasteshorrible) I am amazed and glad especially when I hear about the picky eaters. But at the same time, is this normal??
I just find that some of his symptoms are so opposite to what I hear from otherparents, I wonder if there is something else I am missing.
Any views?
Potato latkes
Has anyone made these GFCF? What would be the best choice to replacethe flour/matzoh meal to still have the stick-togetherness of thelatkes?
Whey in ghee??
Does Ghee contain whey. If my son eats whey he’s bouncing off the wallswithin seconds. It is on the list of don’t use on the gfcf diet website.

What’s the best to start with?(he needs chewables)
What vitamins are needed basically?
When you go on the GFCF diet, other than calcium, what vitamins arenow needed to supplement? What excactly does my child lose by cuttingout the gluten and casien? I mean taking pills is out of the questionso if his diet is basically the same as before other than thereplacing breads and milk, what is he needing? Will it be a lot?
Lunch help
I’m sure most of you know about these; but we just found that Paul Newman’scompany makes some really good GFCF items: Fig Newman’s (fig newtons), ChocolateAlphabet cookies, and Oreo type cookie. They are really good and my kidsespecially love the fig newman’s. These are making my life so much easier. Iam sending these to my 3yo son’s SDS class for the Harvest/Halloween Party. Ialso don’t have to bake snacks if I am pressed for time.
Also someone recommended Bob Red Mill GF Bread Mix….OH MY GOSH, why didn’tsomeone tell me about this before. My kids are eating sandwiches again. Itried all the other brands including E-nergy, making my own, and a host of otherstore bought brands. This is good enough that I am eating it. If anyone knowswhere I can buy this in a case for cheaper than Whole Foods sells it…Pleaselet me know. I encourage any of you newbies like me to try it. It is theconsistency of regular bread and taste variance is only slightly different. Notenough for my teens and husband to tell, plus since I made it in my breadmaker….I can serve it warm with GFCF margarine.
