Help starting enzymes
We just started enzymes today and both times I gave them to him w/ agfcf meal and he got a bad headache along with an asthma attack. I amusing Houston’s original Peptizde and HN-Zyme Time. Any thoughts onwhat could be causing this or is it normal to have a reaction whenfirst starting?

I only gave him the HN-Zyme Time at dinner and he did well, noheadache or asthma. What a relief.. I was afraid we were going tohave to stop the enzymes completely. His breathing had dropped below100 on his flow meter.

I’m glad this went much better. The headache can be a reaction toenzymes in the beginning due to die-off or initial cleaning out gunk inthe system. However, the breathing isn’t. Maybe it was a coincidence?Or you might want to give the company a call and ask if they have heardof anything similar due to papain or special ingredients. Check thelabel and see if you have the cellulose filler versions or the ricebran filler versions. Are there any items that cause the asthmareaction in particular for your son?
