Diet
My son Matthew has been on this diet for almost 6 years now. He’s10, and has gained quite a bit of weight over the past year. Hestuffs when he eats (eats as much food as fast as possible) andreally likes sweets. Anyone else out there have this problem. Anysuggestions?

Sounds like a possible yeast issue, especially because he wants sweets

Have you made any changes immediately before this over-eatingoccurred? Like added or removed supplements or foods? Does his newclass this year have different sorts of art projects, community trips, new carpet, new school, things like that?

My son LJ wants to eat non-stop since being on the diet (totallygf/cf since April of 2000). He wants food though, not necessarily sweets.Nothing seems to actually fill him. He is 52″ tall and weighs 92 lbs. ofSOLID body. He eats breakfast and dessert, snack befor lunch, lunch anddessert, snack befor dinner, dinner and dessert, and then 2 snacks beforebed. I started giving him air popped popcorn for 2 of the snacks since itis an allowable food at weight watchers, just hoping that it’ll cut down onweight gain. He’s not eating out of boredom or anything either as he isalways kept busy. I really don’t have an answer, but wanted to let you knowit’s happening here too.

I started with Feingold program for my son today. WhatI see, the program much more flexible than GFCF. Theyallow you eat dairy product as well as particularbrands of bread. Has anyone doing Feingold and GF dietin the same time.

kids will do this often when they can’t tolerate something in the diet or asupplement…..I would look at the corn for starters since it was mentioned
