Wheat grass
My son loves that “green” drink…superfood, made by Odwalla. Someof the green ingredients include,…”wheat grass, barley grass andwheat sprouts…” This seems like an obvious no-no..but as I said myfriend was unsure. I have contacted the company with no response.

If you have a true wheat allergy, like I do, you’ll want to stay awayfrom it though.

Gluten is found in the endosperm, which is inside the seed kernel ofwheat and barley, and not in the steam or leaves. Wheat grass shouldtherefore not contain gluten if you can guarantee all seed kernels havebeen removed. If just one seed is included, it would not be glutenfree.
I found a pretty good summary on the following web site and below.
