Calcium supplement
I was just wondering if anyone just gives their child a diet rich in calciumand no supplement. Our little gal loves green vegetables so we have thoseoften. When I make salmon burgers I put the salmon in the food processor tomulch the bones instead of removing them, because they are rich in calcium. We don’t have these as often as I would like because of the mercury. We usea rice milk that has calcium added.
Thanks for your help!Shirley

I’ve been using a calcium supplement from Yummi Bears - probablyavailable in most healthfood stores - they say they’re gluten free in theingredients section. They’re like gummi bears and I think a 2 year oldcan take these.

If you “google” water Oz you’ll find a lot of places on line. Ipurchase mine through Pathways Medical Adocates. It’s available online.

For calcium, try fortified OJ, or almond milk, or blackstrap molasses (insmoothies or baked goods), or grind up sesame seeds and sprinkle some oncereals,in bread or cookie dough, or anyplace else you can sneak it in. Of course, ifyou can sneak in some broccoli or greens such as kale into his meals, thiswould be good, too. Grind some into meatloaf or burgers, or toss some intocasseroles. Whatever your child will eat. Supplements have their places, butnatural works best, so I’d give that a try.
