Nosebleeds
My daughter has had nosebleeds from time to time. The last time she had oneat school and it was hard for the nurse to stop it. I took her right away toher Dr and he said if it was always from the same nostril that she might needit cauterized but otherwise he thought her nose was just dry and she might bedigging in it. He had me put a saline spray in her nose plus some vaselinebefore bed. I did that a while and that seemed to do the trick.

I had nosebleeds alot as a kid. It made me afraid to do any sportsbecause I was so tired of clothes ruined from blood stains. It wasnot until I was in college that I finally had a doctor tell me that itwas due to my veins (?) too close to the surface. He cauterized theworst spots and now I get 1-2 nosebleeds a year as opposed to 1-2 aweek.
This was a hereditary condition. My mom also has horrible nosebleeds - one in which she lost so much blood she had to have a transfusion. Now my daughter has nosebleeds all the time. I am having a hard timegetting the doctor to cauterize her now instead of waiting until sheis an adult (she is 12)
