From what I understand most DAN!’s say to do the test before goingGFCF. The results may not be accurate. Our DAN! says that many timeshis patients pass the Peptide test but when the parents do a trialof the diet they are HGE responders so he feels it is not accurateat all with our without starting the diet. That is his opinionthough. Several kids I know were not responders to the diet. I wouldcall the DAN! and ask their opinion b/c I certainly don’t know. Ibelieve that from other mother’s posts you are supposed to avoid theGFCF diet until your test is over with.

Today we went for nature walk but it turned out to be a 7km walk in the forest with some slopes - everyone in the family never walk more than 2km continuously for at least 4 years. My 5 yo ASD ds walked all the way quietly & did not ask to be carried till the last kilometer. I’m feeling the aches in the calves/thighs from carrying his chubby twin sis.
I’m sure my ds will have aches on his legs too, just that he can’t tell us (no speech yet). So I’m going to apply pure Emu oil tonight - is it safe for him? It’s from Longview Farm which I ordered from Amazon last Aug. I’ll find another spot (probably tummy) to apply his TD glutathione, also at the time he’s going to bed.
On the bottle of the Emu oil, it did not say if its gfcf or whatsoever.
I’ve used Emu oil very effectively in the past for strained/sprained shoulder.

I’m not sure what test you are doing or rather what laboratory butwhen I did that test on my son…he couldn’t have any of the foodslisted in the instructions 24 hours before taking the collectionwhich was the first morning urine. Of course, you have theinstructions…? So, he can’t have those foods for 24 hours beforetaking the urine.
