About oats

My name is Jenny and I am a mom of two boys, one 5 one 22 months,living in DC. My older son is a long story, but suffice it to saythat he is a kid with sensory integration issues, we think, that hasbaffled many a professional. He has been dairy free for a long timebut we recently learned that he is “intolerant” of soy, eggs, andgluten as well. I don’t know, something else might be on the listtoo… So, I have to start researching and cooking.

I have some questions:1) Oats have gluten?! I was surprised to read that in someone’spost. Does anyone have a link that explains all things gluten?2) Dying for some success stories3) Equipment for cooking: do I need a bread machine? A food mixer?4) Brand recommendations: I checked out the roben’s site and am abit overwhelmed — do people have recommendations for the tastiestbread, cookie, mix, etc. It’s pretty expensive, and slow, to justguess.
