No phenol

I just started giving my son the NO phenol capsule. I added it to twofoods he is known to have problems with. which always cause a rash andthe GSE for yeast treatment which always causes a rash. Well since the NoPhenol he has had a growing, bright red starting to blister rash and his Bowelmovements smell like vomit. Questions:

Is the No Phenol not working and I need to up it and the food is causingreaction? He is getting about 1 no phenol for a banana and one for the GSE. Heis 20 months and weighs thirty pounds.

Or is the No Phenol causing some sort of die off?

Or is the No Phenol causing a problem?

I should also say the diarrhea and rash has been since no phenol , but thethe vomit smell came after a trial of Macadamia Nut butter, with No Phenol.

starting to blister rash and his Bowel movements smell like vomit.

did you start with 1 full capsule? This enzyme product is tends tobe ’stronger’ than others for the use, and so 1/2 may be all youneed.

Also, concerning the rash and stools…does your son have a yeastproblem? or bacteria? This enzyme can really whack out yeast and ifyou aren’t prepared for that immense die-off it can be alarming. Ifyou have yeast, just allow for the yeast-reaction in addition to anyphenol issue. Actually they may be related because yeast and phenolsboth involve a detox reaction. When body parts start turning red, that is also a detox reaction (a histamine reaction is sort of adetox reaction too).

With the GSE, the enzymes will work synergistically with the GSE (orother yeast-killer or bacteria-killer) so you get more umph! foryour treatment. That is what it sounds like to me at this point, andhas been reported often enough by others. Most people consider itwonderful…unless you weren’t prepared for it, that is.

Try cutting back on the enzymes with the food and GSE to about 1/2capsule until the die-off seems manageable, and then increase if youfeel it might be helpful. Epsom salts may help too.

Some kids don’t tolerate an entire capsule. Reduce it back to 1/4capsule, at least to start.

It can help GSE and other yeast killers to kill yeast. So yes, mightbe die off.

A small percentage of kids have problems with enzymes in generaland/or No-Fenol specifically. Try giving it without the banana orGSE, see what happens. Use 1/4 capsule and expect some sort ofadjustment period of about 3 weeks.

Has anyone tried ‘No Phenol’ from Houston Nutraceuticals?http://www.enzymestuff.com/nofenolfile.htmMy grandson eats mostly applesauce and bananas for breakfast and weare having a hard time introducing new foods since starting the GFCFdiet about 2 weeks ago. (We are still waiting for the zinc to arrive).Logan is almost 20 months old. It sounds safe and the success storiesare enough to make me want to order it right away, but it seems that,if it’s so great, why isn’t everyone talking about it?

Yes, but it’s good to start slow (at half the dosagerecommended on the bottle), to minimize the effectsof yeast die-off effects

From other discussions, my understanding is to giveit just before or together with high phenol foods

I never tried it but wanted to because I felt my son was craving andreacting to juice and fruit. As it turned out…he had severe yeastproblems, rash on his torso, red ears at times, bloated stomach. Itwas more of a yeast problem and the fruit I was feeding him was makingit worse. Just be careful on the diet because if your grandson hasyeast problems you wont see the TRUE benefit of a GfCF diet if he hasyeast problems and is loading up on sugar. Sugar feeds yeast…goodluck!
