i dont know about everyone else, but i had my son on either scd or gfcf since hewas born. He was doing great, we moved so decided it was a good time to end thediet and he was off for a few weeks, didnt seem like anything, till one day whenwe started getting notes home from the teacher about his behavior, and then areturn of lining things up and obsessions increased, and we looked closer andfound he lost two pounds and had huge circles under his eyes even though he waseating a ton of regular food. My suggestion. Dont do it, as I had not evengotten him back yet. If you have to Monitor VERY closely, and only had onething in at a time. or just move to all digestive enzymes. I wish i never didit.

Have you ever done any research on celiac disease? My son was testedfor it yestarday. We won’t know what the results are til later…butfrom what I read..people with celiac disease cannot tolerate gluten. And if they eat even a small amount of gluten it can cause damage tothe intestines. I hope and pray my son does not have celiacdisease. I don’t know that I will take my son off of the gf/cf,diet. Especially all the gluten containing flours.

Thanks for the info on the celiac, yes i have researched a bit, and he does fitthe profile even though the weird thing is he lost two pounds but Didnt havediarrehea this whole time. Still dont understand how you can lose two poundsand not have diarrhea especially with the amount of regular food he wasingesting, if anything he became totally constipated. Also he has had theallergen test , and the antibodies, and the transglutiminase test done. He haselevated antibodies to wheat, but the transglutiminase i was told was specificto celiac and his was fine.
