We’ve been on the diet for 5 years now. Every time we’ve used Pacific brand,we’ve had problems with cross contamination. I can’t say for sure that theproblem was with gluten. We always suspected that the milk had traces of soyin it, as my daughter’s reactions were consistent with soy infractions. While they may say they are GF, I think they have quality control issues. Can you ask your importer whether they can order Lundberg or 365 brand fromWhole Foods. I know the latter is Kosher Parve and priced a lot better.

I am almost certain my box says processed in a facility that alsoprocess soy, wheat, etc. the usual disclaimer.

I have been making my own and it is amazingly easy. The hardest partis holding the funnel and pouring mine into the box from the store sono one is the wiser except mom!I put the almonds in a coffee mill, put them in the blender withwater. I add a little vanilla bean ( not the liquid as this containsalcohol and other stuff I am not so sure of), then I add asweetener. Either organic maple syrup, soaked dates (water andall). Then strain and funnel into the carton from the grocerystore.

I started weaning him off of the store stuff by mxing half mine, halfstore, then increasing mine to 3/4. etc.

I usually mill the nuts at one time and store the “almond flour” in aziploc bag in the fridge.
