I have been told these are good. I also heard several years ago that DUNCANHINESfrosting in a can with a “D” on the label was dairy free, and acceptable forthis diet. Timesmay have changed this, and some on this list may have that information tocorrect me ifwrong. Have not looked at it for some time. Let me know if soy is out for you.I am justnow getting back into all of this after a reprieve. We also skipped mostfrostings at thetime we did this previously.

I thought having a D on the label was a Kosher symbol indicating that theproduct was not produced on a dedicated line and that there was a risk for crosscontamination from Dairy products.

Miss Robens and Cherrybrook Farms frosting mixes are GFCF and all natural.Takes only a couple of minutes to whip them up. Oetker Organics might also beGFCF. I used that one pre-diet days, and since I no longer buy the cake mixes, Ino longer buy their frostings. But they might be fine.

I know either Duncan Hines and/or Betty Crocker make a white frostingthat is GFCF. When you are in the store read the backs of the labelsand it lists which ones have the casein in it and which don’t. If youneed to turn the white frosting into a chocolate frosting, melt GFCFchips and mix them into the frosting.
