Is honey a peptidase inhibitor?
I just heard last night that honey is a peptidase inhibitor (just what ourkids need!!!). I’d never heard this before, and especially as we’re looking atusing enzymes for our daughter, need to know if we need to restrict/eliminatehoney from her diet now or once we start her on them.

I asked HNI once about mixing the enzymes into honey, and I was toldthat those enzymes do not act on honey at all. Therefore, the enzymeswould not help digest the honey, but the honey would be good atinsulating the enzymes [so they would last longer].
You might want to check with the specific supplier of the enzymes youwant to use.
