Anti-virals for autism

Would anyone care to enlighten me as to how anti-virals affect our kidswith autism? I’ve read a lot about them from this group but I justdon’t understand the why of it all. Thanks so much.

    Hi Carmen,There are so many people on this list who have much more knowledge than me,but I can tell you about our experiences. We had our girl on supplements(CLO, zinc, probiotic…) and her blood work kept coming back deficient inthese areas. We took her blood work to a different dr. and he said she hada virus and put her on antiviral and antifungal meds. We also took her offall prior supplements but her probiotic. We just had her last blood workand her vitamin A and zinc levels are normal and her allergy markers haveimproved and her viral numbers have improved. The dr. we’re working withis Michael Goldberg. He is not affiliated with DAN! but has been doingviral research for a number of years. I am relieved that her body seems tobe getting her vitamin levels back to normal without supplements. Dr.Goldberg believes that if you heal the problem with the body (in her case,viral), her body will take care of the rest. Dr. McCandless also has muchto say about antivirals.
