Food starch - modified
This is an ingredient in “Smoothie Mix Skittles” which our teachergives our boy for rewards. Please someone tell me what “food starch -modified” means?
While I’m asking, I’ve heard that red dyes are bad - any particularones or all of them?

In “Smoothie Mix Skittles” candy, does anyone know what the “FoodStarch - Modified” is (ie. corn, wheat, whatever)? The teacher hasbeen giving this to our kid at school for potty training reward.

We actually avoid the smoothie mix skittles because Ihaven’t gotten around to checking if they are ok.
But, may I suggest you call the company. Most have 1-800# on theirpackaging and of course on their web-site This is the fastest answer forme.
