How long is withdrawl?
My daughter has been on the diet for 1 week (been casein free forabout a month). We have seen improvement with eye contact and sheiseatign mostly everything offered. I am curious as to how long itREALLY takes to lift the fog- She still is whiny and eating very fasstlike she is looking for something. I want to know how long it tookfor people to see improvement ususally.

One of the factors in how long withdrawal takes is the age of the child, as thatcorrelates with how long he/she has had to build up gluten stores. The older thechild, the longer it takes to get 100% clear, but that doesn’t mean you won’tsee changes sooner.
The way your daughter seems to be “looking for something” when she eats is apretty good indication that she was getting the peptides from wheat, so islikely to have withdrawal if you took her off it “cold turkey.” At the sametime, she should show good improvement once the withdrawal is clear.

It depends on why your child is “in the fog”.
For my son, several years, because he needed a different dietentirely, plus a LOT of other interventions.
