Methyl b12 shot
We just started to give my son the B12 shots–his first one was Thursdaynight. Pfeiffer told us to give him one every third night. Anyhow, hedidn’t even wake up for the shot (thankfully), and he slept fine the lasttwo nights, but tonight it took him almost THREE hours to fall asleep, andhe normally falls asleep in about 10 minutes. We were surprised, because heactually had a great day today–very talkative, very cooperative, etc.Hmmmmm.
Could this be a side effect of the B12? If so, how long can we expect thisto last?
Thanks,

This is common if the dose is too high or too frequent, or for somekids if given without folic acid. Try reducing the dose, give it lessoften, or add some folic or folinic acid, see if that helps.
B12 also feeds yeast, so consider increasing your yeast protocol andsee if that helps.

or you could try giving him the shot in the morning instead of evening. Thatis what helped my son!
