Advice on detoxification products

Has anyone tried the stuff sold on evenbetternow.com fordetoxification? I’m not even sure if this is a problem for my child, but we have been GFCF for 8 months now and although we saw some decentimprovements, there is still something going on with our 3 1/2 yr olddaughter. I have been ever so troubled by the gradual decline thatshe took after having her two year shots and additionally a flue shotin October of last year. I have been so focused on diet and foodintolerance (of which she has many, this list seems to grow as themonths pass by) that I haven’t yet explored the possibility of otherthings going on such as heavy metal toxicity from shots. Shedefinitetly took a decline between the ages of 2 1/2 and 3 which is alittle outside the bounds of normal regression, but she had severaladditional vaccinations during this period. I have been unable tofind a good Dr. in our area (North Houston is STARVED for DAN!protocol) So, I don’t want to be a sucker to something that soundsgood, but I would like to know if anyone has had any experience withthis - good or bad.

Not everyone will be of the same opinion as me, of course, butdetoxification and chelation aren’t the same things. If you thinkthat your daughter suffered regression as a result of vaccinations, two things might be going on.

One, toxins from the vaccinations in the form of mercury, aluminum, etc combined with toxins from her environment (antimony, lead, bismuth, etc) have left her toxic. IMO, the majority of kids inthis situation need to be chelated.

If you cannot get a doctor knowledgeable in this, most likely a DAN,you are in the same situation as me. I have a doctor who helps me,but I’m the one with the knowledge. I get the majority of myinformation from books and the autism-mercury group. I use AndyCutler’s protocol for chelation, which my research showed me was thesafest and most effective. My opinion of most detoxificationproducts is that they are not nearly enough for the vast majority ofour kids. Also, they can be unsafe. For example, some of the themcontain chlorella, which some mercury poisoned adults have statedcauses a very bad reaction in them.

Some ASD kids have viral issues, sometimes on top of toxin issues. This may also be the case with your daughter. This is also an issuewe deal with on autism-mercury.

Some people fly to see DAN doctors. If you were to do this, youwould want to ask around to find the best one you can that is on aconvenient airline route.

I guess my main point is this: the products of which you speakmight work. But if you believe that your daughter regressed fromher vaccinations, you probably want to provide her with the bestbiomedical interventions that you can. The ones that have workedsafely and well for a large number of parents. If you want to getstarted on helping her while you make arrangements to see a DANdoctor, I would highly recommend the autism-mercury group. They arevery knowledgeable and experienced.
