Rice cakes & bagels
I’ve been looking on the gfcfdiet website, trying to find which rice cakes areacceptable. (I’m trying to find an alternative to my son’s belovedsaltine/peanut butter crackers I pack in his lunch box — maybe mini-rice cakesand p.b?)Anyway, I can’t seem to find rice cakes in any category! If memory serves me correctly, I’m thinking that it’s Quaker brand miniapple-cinnamon variety? Thanks for your help! And, to whomever recommended Enjoy Life brand frozen cinnamon-raisin bagels toreplace my son’s Lender’s — it worked! Although, I didn’t think it would, because they LOOK so different from the original.

I called the Quaker co. last year because I had been giving my son themini-apple cinnamon rice cakes and he was behaving oddly. They said thatthey have big cross contamination issues in their plant (using mostly oatsin their products) and nothing could be considered to be gluten free due toall the cross contamination.
I found some crackers that my son liked a lot recently. They were made byGlutano I believe and looked like kebbler butter crackers.
