I have the mag from Kirkman’s. How do you give it to your child. Thepowder in the capsules is so gritty I can’t hide it well in anything.

I posted different forms of IRON which are constipating. Mostmagnesium, especially citrate form, acts as a laxative.

Many ASD children have moms with the same problems: they simplymanifest differently. You would do well to investigate chelation. Iwould recommend that you check out the grouphttp://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/
Chelation doesn’t need to prescribed by a doctor although it is goodto work with a doctor who knows what he is doing. Unfortunately, many, many doctors do not know what they’re doing a prescribe unsafeprotocols that can make you worse. I think it is imperative that weknow what we’re doing in regards to chelation so that harm is not done.
If you read the FAQ’s at autism-mercury it would be a good start.Only chelation is the same as chelation, IMO. There are naturalchelators, like ALA, which I use for my son, but you still need to beusing it on a protocol that is safe (without amalgams, low frequentdosing, rests in between rounds, proper supplementation, etc.)
There are many adults at autism mercury who have chelated themselvesto better health. There are many parent chelating their children tobetter health. If you and/or your son are metal toxic, these peopleare the ones who can help you, IMO.
I hope that his helps. I’d be happy to answer any questions you mighthave the best I can. You just have to ask.
