Can someone explain fruits to me?
Ok, we are gfcf-soyfree and sugar free (as much as possible). My sonhas HUGE yeast issues- they were being maintained well until i tookhim off of everything and started over to see what was really needed.so, of course the yeast came back. We are treating with diflucan andThreelac and enzymes. So, my question:
since he has a yeast problem and he is phenol sensitive: what fruit isok for him to have? Are there any? And how does giving him no phenolplay a role in this? Thanks!

Pears are usually recommended.
No-Fenol will help with most phenol issues for most kids, but not all. My son also did not tolerate pears themselves, and No-Fenol helpedwith that problem. No-Fenol also breaks down the yeast cell wall andhelps eliminate the yeast problem.

Thanks, Dana! I’ve been giving him pears in his “milk” all along, soit’s nice to know those are “ok”.
As far as the No Phenol- how do you give it to him? I mean as far astiming. Is it something that I only give him when he eats offendingfood or should it be taken regularly, like the other enzymes which Igive at b’fast, lunch and dinner? Thanks!

For my son, I had to give No-Fenol with all foods. You can do it thatway, or just give it with fruits and veggies and anything high phenol. See which way works best for your child.
