Bacterial dysbiosis

Test showed that my son has in his intestinesand that it is pretty severe (7 out of possible 10).

Per the Dan doc we are using 20 drops of twice aday. We are also giving him Klaire Labs Ther-biotic Complete - onecapsule at bedtime.

Yeast did not show up on the test as a problem, and we don’t have areason to believe it has been in the past.

He has had a lot of gas on this, I understand this may be a goodsign. He has had lots of MAJOR behavior problems while treatingthis, not that behavior was great before. I can’t help but wonder iftreating this is contributing to the behaviors.

What else should I be doing to treat this? Is this like yeast whereit will always keep coming back or once it is gone can we keep itunder control with a good pro-biotic? Should we make diet changesother than what we are already doing (GFCF almost soy and corn freeand low phenol). Does sugar effect this?

As a side note, his color has been awful lately and he has darkcircles at times. He seems to lack color and be sort of grey. I’veasked to run allergy and an IGG test as well as a comprehensive testto check nutritional deficiencies but I’m wondering if die off ofthe bacteria would cause this. These test have to be ordered andeven with overnighting them by the time it is done and the doctorgets back to us I’d guess it will be a month before I have answers.

I know you guys aren’t doctors, but frankly as a collective group Ioften get a lot more info here than from the doctors. They arelearning too. I’d appreciate any suggestions you can pass along fortreating this.

Our DAN! placed my son on Bactrim for this. It’s an antibiotic. It worked.

I used olive leaf extract and probiotics, especially Culturelle, forthis problem.

OLE is high phenol, try giving it with No-Fenol enzyme and see if thathelps

I didn’t know this! We use no phenol with every meal AND we are verycareful to give him low phenol foods. He seems to be very sensativeto these so it would make sense that this is causing him a problem.Would phenols cause his color to be off? Looking back in my fooddiary, behavior got worse after going on OLE. I’ve started makingsure I give him the OLE fifteen minutes after the no phenol, rightbefore his meal. Should I give him TWO no phenols before giving himOLE?

Also, I’ve heard that oil of oregano is good for getting rid ofbacterial dysbiosis. Can anyone comment on this? Does it kill thegood bacteria too? My understanding is that I can give the OLE andprobiotic close together because the OLE won’t kill the good guys.Is this true of O of O? How much do I give, and do I do this inaddition to OLE?

    Possibly, yes.

    Looking back in my food

If OLE is causing virus “die off”, it can increase yeast, which canincrease behaviors. Try increasing your yeast protocol.

Depends. One should be sufficient, but he might do better with two.You can try it and see if it helps.

OoO is a good anti-bacterial also, altho my son did not tolerate it soI can’t give too much info on it.
