Flaxseed oil and/or fish oils

I repeatedly see mention various places of the benefits of flaxseed and/orfish oils, but have not quite got a handle on what all they do for our kids. Iam interested in others’ experiences as far as physical and behavioral oremotional issues. Please also include any negative effects you saw and whetherthey were temporary as the child’s system got used to the oil or severe orlong-term enough that you had to stop using it. We are looking to have asadditive-free as possible regarding flavoring etc., but would like to know ifthe one that worked the best for your child had some sort of flavor or otheradditive, as the benefits might outweigh the effects of the additive for ourdaughter also.

I used flax oil for language acquisition and social interest.

My son did not tolerate any EFAs, they made him very aggressive andmean, until I added mito cocktail and amino acids. I wrote about it here

I use regular flax oil, no flavors or additives.
