Hebrew Nationals: No artificial flavorings, no by-products, no fillers. Idon’t think Oscar Meyer claims that. I believe, at least they used to, haveby-products and fillers and artifical flavorings.
I believe that the Oscar Mayer have casein in them, which is a byproduct ofcow’s milk. Plus lots of nitrates.

Oscar Mayer does NOT have any milk products in their hot dogs, casein orotherwise. These are all we use and I verify them about every 4 months. They do have preservatives though.

The package that I looked at her in St. Louis lists caseinate. I know otherfood manufacturers sell products with different ingredients in them indifferent parts of the country. Could it be that Oscar Mayer does this?

Were they the ‘light’, or ‘reduced fat’, or the ones with cheese? I have 2packs in my refrigerator so I’ll go grab one and post back the ingredients. But I checked them yesterday and it was not an ingredient. I buy OscarMayer all beef franks, and the weiners.

Could be. I’ll check again when I shop. Heck, I read so many labels, maybeI’m just confused. My husband is nodding his head. He says I’m confusedall the time ;o)What about nitrates? Is everybody avoiding them?

I vote for Applegate hot dogs, rather than the Sheltons cause they areless spicy.
