I only today discovered your site through your response below !! I amthe mother of Dimitri , an 8 year old who has been diagnosed SensoryIntegration and then Aspergers (by another evaluation) . Actually Ihave more diagnosis..every doctor I went to gave me a differenttitle !!Perhaps I should be e mailing you private…I don’t know if you wouldprefer it but if so please feel free to email me atdemetratzev@….

As many symptoms overlap between Aspergers and sensory integration itis difficult however to establish exactly what I am dealing with.Perhaps I shouldn’t be concerned witht the actual title but thesymptoms themselves. It is confusing to me nonetheless and would verymuch want to know about your daughter and her symptoms which wouldhelp shed light.

My son has been CF for the last month with no visible changes. We arewaiting for results from the 1st round of DAN blood tests. I havestopped giving him CLO which it seems was causing him needle likepains throughout his body. Today was day 1 on probiotics. Nothingelse in the DAN protocol has been done so far as I am new to this.

I have hit a dead end here in Montreal as the resources and supportgroups are not as established as in the US. Not much is availableespecially through the social system !! He has done OT but no changeson a pyhsical level ….muscle is just not growing .

Why are bananas bad for children in this spectrum by the way ? (sorryfor my lack of knowledge)

That’s what we got started with at age 3, although we pointed to many otherissues back then and were continuously brushed aside. After 5 years ofquestioning and disagreeing with our daughter’s various diagnoses, wefinally received a full Autism diagnosis this year.
