Margarines
Migdal is a margarine, and like all margarines (with very few exceptions) itcontains artificials, and very likely soy as well. Cornmeal, palm shortening,or millet based homemade “margarines” are the ONLY ones I’m aware of that arefree of artificials, soy, and all traces of dairy. If anyone knowsdifferently, I am waiting anxiously to hear about them!

hmmmm….our local group of moms of asd kids…all buy this margarine…whichhas the kosher for passover with strict guidelines printed on thelabel…apparantly they have called…however i have not….i did look at theingres:partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil, water, vegetable mono anddiglycerides, potassium sorbate (preservative), citric acid, artificial flavor, annatho for color, vit A palminate
when i questioned the artificial flavor here, they said it had been verifiedto be okay…..hmmm…perhaps i will call the company if i can get a hold of the# to verify for myself…..i read several comments about the kosher andlabeling…so could be confusing…but even the jewish people at the marketsthat sell it (i went to a few)..all use it during passover because they say itcontains NO dairy or soy…
if i find out anything, i will post back

If the margarine says kosher for Passover, it will not have soy or corn init since these are not eaten by the religious during Passover. If themargarine says pareve, it will not contain any dairy. As far as thespecific natural flavors, you can look on their website or call themanufacturers. If it says Kosher for Passover and Pareve there will not beany dairy, gluten, soy or corn in it. I stocked up on Mother’s margarineduring Passover (April) and have been using it all year.
