Chocolate Fudge Cake

• 1/3 cup shortening, margarine or butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 6 Tblsp. cocoa powder
• 2 Tblsp. vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup + 1 heaping Tblsp. shifted El Peto All Purpose Flour mix
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 3/4 cup water

Mix shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract, cocoa and oil and then egg and beat well. Put flour, soda and salt in another bowl and add to creamed mixture alternately with water, beating after each addition. Grease 9 x 9 or 7 x 11 in. baking pan with butter and spray with Pam. Sprinkle choc. chips. Bake at 350 degrees, for about 30 or more minutes (until toothpick comes out clean) and after it gets ready cool in pan.
