Alkaline phosphatase score

I recently had fasting blood tests for our son with our family doc (going onto a DAN doc next month). The “alkaline phosphatase came out really high(461 with a reference of 50-136). Doc said that was ok. . .

What do you think that high score means?

It means his bones are growing as is the case with all healthychildren. Yeesh. I wish the labs would change the reference rangefor alk. phos. on kids.
