Rice dream ice cream

Rice Dream as I have been told is not gfcf due to the fact thatthey use barley in their processing. Does anyone know if their ice cream isalso tainted?

My son eats the Soy Delicious Creamy Vanilla ice cream. It’s fruitjuce sweetened, and doesn’t taste bad at all!

I’ve also tasted the Tofutti ice cream, not too bad either!

Soy Delicious is not necessarily gf. When I contacted them last Spring viaemail they said they could not guarantee gf status. This was because theirsuppliers may or may not be using a gluten-based grain alcohol for thevanilla.

We called the manufacturer and they told us it was okay, no gluten.

If your child is yeasty then it’s better to cut back on rice milk, flour and anything with potatoes. We started using almond milk andflour and it helps keep the yeast under control. Eventually my sonstopped drinking any type of milks at all. He now only drinks waterwith stevia sweetner so no juice or anything. I put about 1/4 cupblueberry juice in the water to give it color (blueberry juice isalmost black) and he does great with it. Yeast is almost non-existant in him. He has traces of some strands but it’s nothing likeit was 3 months ago. Good luck!
